Frequent Headache - First Know the Causes? |
The most common headache amongst people is the migraine headache. It can be mild or severe. If you have a frequent headache due to migraines, you might be feeling very low. The common symptoms of migraine headache are sensitivity to light and loud sounds, noise and pain in the cheeks. Some times you can also feel a nauseating feeling. The headache could last for a few hours or even a few days. Another type of headache is cluster headache which is least common and is characterized by clusters of headaches during a period of one to three weeks. There could be breaks in between these clusters, up to a year or so. These are of short range headaches that last from a few minutes to a few hours but they are very intense and can occur eight times a day. The main symptoms are watery eyes, stuffy noise and a swelling in specific pain affected areas. This headache is common among men. Sinus headache are the ones that are most misdiagnosed by the patients. The symptoms are pain in the cheeks and forehead and behind the eyes, green or yellow discharge from the nose. If it is due to an infection, the sufferer might also have a mild fever and swollen lymph nodes. Thus, first of all it is necessary to recognize the type of headache you suffer from. Then avoid using over the counter pain killers as they sometimes do more harm than good. Better consult a doctor and give him full details of the problem – its intensity and frequency. And after all, change your daily routine and try to make your life stress free. Related Articles
